Alpe Pragas Chestnut Compote originates in the heart of the South Tyrolean Dolomites, amongst the woods and mountains of Braies, where the fruit is carefully selected and processed by a family-run business that has been operating since 1997.
The recipe contains 50% chestnut purée, which in turn is made with a high concentration of chestnuts – 63%.Free from colourings and preservatives, it has a sweet and enveloping flavour, enriched by the aromatic notes of vanilla and cinnamon and the subtle freshness of lime.
A recipe with a creamy texture and a delicately spiced character, bringing out all the delightful qualities of the chestnut.
