Alpe Pragas Peach Compote originates in the heart of the South Tyrolean Dolomites, amongst the woods and mountains of Braies, where the fruit is carefully selected and processed by a family-run business that has been operating since 1997.
Made with 75% peaches and free from colourings and preservatives, it captures the sweet flavour and aromatic scent of this quintessentially summery fruit.

GLUTEN-FREE
• For breakfast or as a snack, it is ideal on bread and rusks, or spread on a warm brioche.It can also be used to enhance plain yoghurt, pancakes and crêpes.
• In baking, it is ideal for filling tarts, biscuits and cakes, but also for finishing off cheesecakes, panna cotta, ice cream and other spoon desserts.The peach flavour pairs particularly well with mascarpone, vanilla, almonds and amaretti.
• Its sweetness also creates a pleasant contrast with savoury, spicy or blue cheeses, such as mature pecorino and gorgonzola.When combined with fresh ricotta, it can be used in the preparation of crostini and starters.
• In cooking, it can form the basis of sweet-and-sour sauces and glazes for chicken and pork, combined with ingredients such as mustard, vinegar, spices or soya sauce.
