Vite Colteβs Villata is made from Arneis grapes, a historic Piedmontese white grape variety associated with the Roero hills.
The grapes come from vineyards grown on light, well-drained soils, characterised by a high silica content.
After being harvested by hand, the grapes undergo a brief cold maceration and are then gently pressed.
Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature for around ten days.
The wine then matures on its own lees in stainless steel tanks and completes its development with a brief period of bottle ageing.
Alcohol content: 13% vol.
